Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines—On 14 May 2024, the Department of Trade and Industry Region 2 (DTI R2), in partnership with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas North Luzon Regional Office, conducted a series of advocacy campaigns on the Paleng QR Ph Program in the municipalities of Bambang and Aritao.
The Paleng-QR Ph program, jointly developed by the BSP and the Department of the Interior and Local Government, aims to build the country’s digital payment ecosystem by promoting cashless payments in public markets and local transportation, particularly tricycles.
