Pasay City, April 26, 2024 – With the typical Italian flair and flamboyance, Ducati Philippines drops THE bomb in the 2024 Makina Moto Show as they introduce the latest, fastest and most ravishing variant in the Multistrada family– the Multistrada V4 RS.
The Official Philippine Launch of the top-spec Multistrada at the SMX Convention Center was led by no less than Ducati Philippines President and CEO Toti Alberto, together with Ducati Philippines Vice President Joy Alberto, three-time Philippine Superbike Champion TJ Alberto and former FIM Supersport 300 World Championship racer Troy Alberto.
The Albertos talked about the racing DNA of the Multistrada V4 RS, with is Desmosedici Stradale Superbike engine with STM-EVO SBK dry clutch made from billet aluminum, and dedicated electronic calibrations, same as the MotoGP-derived engine used on the Panigale V4. The Multistrada V4 RS delivers a maximum power of 180 horsepower, ten more than the Multistrada V4. The bike also features an aluminum monocoque chassis paired with a lighter titanium subframe which shaves off 2.5 kg and pushes the Ducati sports DNA in the Big Dual family to even more of an extreme, ensuring a no compromise, unprecedented mix of electrifying performance.
To further reduce the weight and ensure top-notch handling, Ducati included Marchesini forged aluminum wheels, 2.7 kg lighter than those of the V4 S, as well as O hlins 48mm USD forks and O hlins TTX36 monoshock with Smart EC2.0 electronic system superbike suspension
Upon the unveiling, the crowd was wowed by the dedicated matte Iceberg White livery and red inserts enhanced with MotoGP-inspired graphic elements and tasty carbon fibre components including the front fender, hand guards, heat shield, and beak, which beautifully contrasts with the livery. The sporty techno-polymer tail is also a great addition to enhance the sporty aesthetics of special numbered series Multistrada V4 RS that was created to celebrate the 20 years of the Multistrada family.
In conclusion, the Multistrada V4 RS is THE Top-Of-The-Tier sports-touring bike that has a heart for the racetrack.
It is introduced in the Philippine market with a price tag of 2.8 million pesos.
