PINAG-AARALAN na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang dagdag na pagbubukas sa ekonomiya.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, nag-aalala ang Pangulo sa kahihinatnan ng patuloy na mahigpit na galaw ng publiko na sanhi ng economic recession at kahirapan na makarekober sa ekonomiya.

Aminado rin si Roque na nangangamba ang Pangulo dahil kung hindi pa bubuksan nang todo ang ekonomiya ay marami ang magugutom.

“So, the President is already bothered that there is really a need to recover in the soonest possible time because it’s very clear that there could be many (Filipinos) now who are getting hungry or could die of hunger than COVID,” ayon kay Roque.

Nagkausap na, aniya,  ang Pangulo at si Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III hinggil sa lagay ng ekonomiya ng bansa.

Samantala, iginiit naman ni Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez na maaari na ring luwagan pa ang galaw ng publiko at hayaang makarekober ang ekonomiya sa pagbubukas ng negosyo, gayundin na makapagtrabaho ang ilang nahintong manggagawa. EVELYN QUIROZ
