Eternal Gardens celebrates 48th anniversary, kicks off countdown to golden jubilee

ETERNAL Gardens, a leading name in the memorial park industry, celebrated its 48th anniversary on August 12, 2024 in Makati City. The celebration, themed “Kasama mo, eternally!” brought together employees, executives, and partners to honor nearly five decades of service, dedication, and commitment.

The evening began with a moving speech by Operations Executive Dannica Nicole A. Cabangon, who shared her personal journey with the company. “Our work at Eternal Gardens plays a crucial role in the lives of the Filipino people we serve, offering them comfort during their most challenging times,” Dannica remarked.

She also acknowledged the company’s significant milestones, including the recent inauguration of Eternal Paw Crematory in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, and expressed her deep gratitude to the employees whose dedication has been instrumental to the company’s success.

The celebration also featured an inspiring audio-visual presentation that recounted the history of Eternal Gardens, from its humble beginnings to its current status as one of the leaders in memorial care services. The presentation highlighted the company’s expansion beyond memorial parks to include chapels, memorial plans, crematoriums, and pet crematorium, demonstrating Eternal Gardens’ continuous commitment to evolving and meeting the diverse needs of the Filipino community.

Special messages from the company’s top executives, including President & COO Numeriano B. Rodrin, Board Director T. Anthony C. Cabangon, Vice Chairman Benjamin V. Ramos, and Chairman & CEO D. Edgard A. Cabangon further emphasized the theme of gratitude and future growth.

“Marking 48 years in the industry is indeed a great achievement,” President and COO Numeriano B. Rodrin said. “Eternal Gardens has been more than just a leading memorial park in the country; it has been a symbol of dedication, hard work, and loyalty.”

A total of 60 service awards were presented to employees who have served the company for 5, 10, 15, and up to 40 years. Among the awardees was Broderick Jaug who received a special commendation for his 40 years of service. His heartfelt words of gratitude reflected the deep sense of family and community that defines Eternal Gardens.

“Tumagal po ako sa Eternal Gardens dahil sa magandang pamamalakad ng management, maayos na benepisyo, at itinuturing na pamilya ang bawat empleyado”,” Jaug said.

In his speech, Chairman & CEO D. Edgard A. Cabangon shared a nostalgic reflection on the company’s journey, crediting the dedicated employees for its continued success. “We are expanding because of you,” he stated. “We will go a long way because of you. Thank you, and happy anniversary to us all.”

With glasses raised high, the attendees joined in a collective pledge to continue the legacy of excellence that has defined Eternal Gardens for nearly five decades. This toast not only marked the close of a successful 48th anniversary celebration but also set the stage for the exciting journey ahead as the company prepares for its golden jubilee in 2026.
