ETERNAL GARDENS celebrated the blessing and inauguration of its new San Lorenzo Ruiz Columbarium at Eternal Gardens Lipa on Thursday, September 28, 2023. This occasion coincided with the Feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint, whose image is placed at the center of the columbarium.
Top company executives, including President and COO Numeriano B. Rodrin, VP for Sales and Marketing Jose Antonio V. Rivera, Operations Executive Dannica Nicole A. Cabangon, and Branch Manager Teresita R. Marzan, attended the ceremony alongside employees and members of the salesforce.
The event began with a Thanksgiving Mass, followed by the columbarium’s blessing, led by Msgr. Alfredo Madlangbayan, and concluded with a brief program.
In her message, Dannica Nicole A. Cabangon recounted Eternal Gardens founder Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Chua’s deep devotion to the cause of San Lorenzo Ruiz’s canonization. She said, “My late grandfather was an ardent advocate for the canonization of then Beato Lorenzo Ruiz, who now proudly stands as our First Filipino Saint. I am certain that he would be immensely proud to see that we continue his advocacy for San Lorenzo Ruiz in the form of this beautiful columbarium.”
The San Lorenzo Columbarium offers an affordable and dignified alternative to traditional burials, with each crypt capable of holding up to two urns. In total, it provides over 400 new crypts, giving families a respectful place to commemorate their loved ones.
Moreover, Eternal Gardens branches with plazas built in honor of San Lorenzo Ruiz also held thanksgiving masses in celebration of his feast day.
Eternal Gardens is a member of the ALC Group of Companies founded by the late Amb. Antonio L. Cabangon Chua, and is currently chaired by D. Edgard A. Cabangon.
