FORTITUDE 2, a watercolor art exhibition held by the art group Philippine Guild of Watercolorists/ International Watercolor Society Philippines formally opened last February 1, 2020 in GOT HEART GALLERY with Guests of Honor Presidential Communication Undersecretary Ms. Lorraine Badoy and Princess Ivy Macainan of Marawi City, Master Watercolor Artists Ernie Patricio and Ms Margarita Lim.
Their artworks ranging from seascapes to floral, portrait and still life shows the range and versatility of watercolor art’s beauty in whatever genre and style. Artists who participated in the show includes Jhanine Almazora, Jofel Banez, Luisa Bayot, Michael Belleza, Rachelle Cano, Cathy Chan, Arianna Cranz, Allen Casacop, Emerson Casacop, Nina Custodio, Uno Custodio, Alvin De Jesus, Rolly Delos Santos, David De Vera, Maria Gardinia Escay, Patricia Bianca Flores, Evelyn Franco, Marie Franco, Princess Jao, Alice Atienza Lee, Kyle Fortu Legaspi, Reggie Lim, Gigi Manalastas, Melver Mercado, Alfredo Morales, Andy Pernia, Pinky Peralta, Jinky Rayo, Althea Roa, Marjorie Sanchez, and Cynthia Vargas.
In support of our fellowmen in South Luzon, a portion of the proceeds from the artworks of this exhibit will be donated to the victims of the Taal volcanic eruption.
