Fortune Life joins the 2023 Palarong Pambansa Opening Ceremony

Fortune Life donated corporate giveaways to the DepEd EPS team at Sta. Elena High School, Marikina.

 

IN coordination with the Department of Education (Deped) External Partnership Service, Fortune Life Insurance Company joined the opening ceremony of the much-awaited 2023 Palarong Pambansa at the Marikina Sports Complex on July 31, 2023.

There were approximately 9,000 learner-athletes from 17 regions who enthusiastically took part in the parade, wearing their respective well-designed and colorful costumes, and uniforms.  After three years of hiatus due to COVID19 pandemic, the annual sports competition for elementary and high school students is back, featuring 34 sports, including demonstration and exhibition events.

The event was graced by His Excellency, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. together with Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Z. Duterte. President Marcos, Jr. reminded all learner-athletes the importance of sportsmanship, and expressed his appreciation to the coaches who helped train the participants in each sporting event.  “With consistent and diligent efforts, I am confident that they will eventually bring glory to our nation not only in the field of sports but also in other endeavors that they will choose to pursue,” President Marcos added.

The company expressed its continued support to this DepEd event by donating corporate giveaways that will benefit the participants.
