Fortune Life joins the 2024 National Brigada Eskwela Kick-off

In preparation for the opening of public schools, Fortune Life Insurance Company joined the 2024 National Brigada Eskwela Kick-off Program at the Carmen National High School, Carmen, Cebu on July 17, 2024.  This year’s event themed “Bayanihan Para Sa Matatag Na Paaralan” was led by Vice President and former Secretary of the Department of Education (DepEd) Sara Duterte with the Schools Division Office of Cebu Province Region VII and DepEd External Partnerships Service (EPS).

In her speech, VP Sara Duterte stated, “We are all here to prove that with the power of partnership, it builds walls to strengthen, not to divide. Today, we have a total of 72 partners standing strong with us in ‘bayanihan’ para sa MATATAG na Paaralan.”

Expressing her gratitude to DepEd partners, VP Duterte added “Maraming salamat sa private sector, sa private businesses, organizations and corporations. Maraming salamat po sa inyo.”

Representing Fortune Life were EVP and Chief Operating Officer Emma Abad, AVP for Corporate Communications Floreda Constantino and Regional Sales Assistant Manager for VisMin Gerald Roland Casia. 

Fortune Life, through its sales force, extended its support to selected schools nationwide by donating cleaning materials and school supplies during the Brigada Eskwela week from July 22 – 27, 2024.
