Gencars inaugurates the new Isuzu San Pablo, largest Isuzu showroom in PH

Gencars, Inc. unveiled the new Isuzu San Pablo dealership, the largest Isuzu showroom in the Philippines on June 14, 2024, coinciding with the dealership’s 23rd anniversary. 

The program began with a thanksgiving mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Zaldy Urgena and Rev. Fr. Diwane Cacao. Following the mass, guests were invited to partake in the blessing of the dealership, accompanied by a detailed tour of its impressive facilities. The ribbon-cutting ceremony followed afterward, signifying the official opening of Isuzu San Pablo.

Located at Km. 85 Maharlika Highway, Brgy. San Ignacio, San Pablo City, Laguna, this dealership sets a new standard for customer experience with its expansive and state-of-the-art facilities. Spanning a 10,000-square-meter property, with the showroom and service center occupying 8,147 square meters, this dealership establishes a new benchmark for Isuzu dealerships nationwide.

The 753-square-meter showroom, the largest in the Isuzu network to date, can showcase up to seven light commercial vehicles and two trucks while providing ample space for customer transactions, a waiting lounge, and an accessories display. The dealership also boasts a sleek and bold 67-linear meter frontage that creates a welcoming ambiance. 

With 12 service bays—nine for light commercial vehicles (LCVs), one for heavy-duty commercial vehicles (CVs), and two for light-duty CVs—the five-star service center is equipped to ensure that both individual and fleet customers will receive timely and efficient service.

The facility also boasts a range of amenities, including a customer’s lounge, kids play zone, nursing room, a pantry, and spacious areas for admin and sales offices. It also sets a unique precedent as the first dealership to incorporate a mini Japanese garden, symbolizing the enduring partnership between Isuzu Philippines Corporation and Gencars, Inc.

Moreover, the dealership has a conference room and various other spaces to enhance aftersales services, such as a parts warehouse, overhauling area, wash bays, and wheel alignment bays, among others. These amenities cater to the diverse needs of both staff and customers.

Isuzu San Pablo’s beginnings trace back to a 1,075-square-meter lot along Colago Ave., Brgy. 1-A, San Pablo City, Laguna where it was established on June 14, 2001. Over time, the dealership expanded to 2,145 square meters by acquiring the adjacent lot, enhancing its facilities to cater to its growing clientele. However, with a commitment to better serve its loyal customers and accommodate its expanding business, the dealership has moved to a larger, more spacious location.

He noted that under former IPC EVP Hiroshi Ishino and later, former IPC President Hajime Koso, the need for expansion became clear. The trust and persistent encouragement from Isuzu Philippines Corporation executives inspired the Gencars group to secure a one-hectare property, culminating in the impressive 8,147-square-meter facility that stands today as the largest Isuzu showroom in the Philippines.

He then expressed gratitude to Isuzu Philippines Corporation presently led by President Tetsuya Fujita stating, “We are very grateful for Isuzu Philippines for all the support. We at Gencars, Inc. are committed to continuing to provide even better customer service to our customers here in San Pablo, especially now with our new, bigger, and better IOS dealership.”

The new, IOS-compliant Isuzu San Pablo dealership was constructed by the ISO Certified firm RDB Tecson and Associates led by Arch. Rafael Tecson, the same firm behind the successful adoption of IOS in Isuzu Makati and Isuzu Batangas.
