SUMANDIG ang Barangay Ginebra kina import Justin Brownlee at veteran sniper Jeff Chan upang sibakin ang NLEX, 112-93, sa Game 4 ng kanilang best-of-five semis series at makabalik sa PBA Governors’ Cup finals nitong Miyerkoles sa Araneta Coliseum.
Ipinakita ni Brownlee ang kanyang champion heart sa pagkamada ng 47 points na sinamahan ng 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals at 3 blocks.
“Life is easier when you have Justin Brownlee around,” wika ni Ginebra coach Tim Cone. “What a phenomenal performance that was by Justin. I’m amazed by it.”
Pinangunahan ni Brownlee ang third-quarter breakaway tungo sa 19-point win na nagselyo sa kanilang ika-4 na finals sa huling limang Governors’ Cup meets.
Sumandal din ang Ginebra kay Chan na nagbuhos ng 20 markers, tampok ang 5-of-8 three-point shooting.
Bumawi naman si LA Tenorio sa kanyang crucial endgame booboos sa Game 3 na may 14-point outing, na sinamahan ng 3 rebounds, 2 assists at 2 steals.
Nagbigay rin ng suporta sina Christian Standhardinger (10 markers, 11 boards at 7 dish-offs) at Nards Pinto (12 points, kabilang ang dalawang three-pointers) habang nalimitahan si Scottie Thompson sa 4 points sa 2-of-9 field clip.
Nagtala si Cameron Clark ng 34 points at 12 rebounds, habang nagdagdag sina Don Trollano at Justin Chua ng 15 at 10 points, ayon sa pagkakasunod.
