(Gobyerno kumpiyansa) REVENUE TARGET PARA SA 2024 MAHIHIGITAN

NANANATILING kumpiyansa ang pamahalaan na mahigitan ang revenue goal na P4.27 trillion ngayong taon sa kabila ng mas mababang koleksiyon noong Nobyembre kumpara sa kaparehong buwan noong nakaraang taon.

Iniulat ng Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) na ang revenue collection ng national government noong nakaraang buwan ay bumaba ng 0.61 percent sa P338.3 billion mula P340.4 billion noong November 2023, mas mababa ng P2.1 billion.

Ayon sa BTr, ito’y makaraang bumagsak ang non-tax revenues ng 70.7 percent year-on-year mula P54.3 billion sa P15.9 billion kung saan isinama sa 2023 level ang P23.8 billion remittance ng karagdagang dibidendo mula sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
Samantala, tumaas ang tax revenues ng 12.7 percent noong November 2024 sa P322.4 billion mula P286.1 billion noong nakaraang taon.

Ang koleksiyon ng Bureau of Internal Revenues (BIR) ay tumaas ng 17.77 percent noong nakaraang buwan sa P247.6 billion mula P210.2 billion noong November 2023.

Bahagya namang bumaba ang revenues mula sa Bureau of Customs (BOC) ng 1.69 percent sa P72.4 billion noong nakaraang buwan mula P73.7 billion noong November 2023.

From January to November, NG’s revenue collection increased to PHP4.1 trillion from PHP3.56 trillion in the same period last year, higher by PHP540.3 billion.

“The national government is on track to surpass its revenue goal in 2024 with collections growing by 15.2 percent to PHP4.1 trillion as of the end of November, representing 96.12 percent of the full-year program of PHP4.3 trillion,” ayon sa BTr.

“The year-to-date budget deficit of PHP1.2 trillion also remains well within the target, representing 79.29 percent of the PHP 1.5 trillion full-year program for the year.”

Pagdating sa expenditures, tumaas ang ginasta ng national government ng 27.13 percent noong November 2024 sa P551.3 billion mula P433.6 billion, kung saan lumaki ang interest payments ng 37.29 percent sa P66.7 billion noong nakaraang buwan mula P48.5 billion noong nakaraang taon.
“The increase was primarily due to coupon payments on new domestic debt issuances and Global Bonds, as well as the impact of foreign exchange fluctuations,” pahayag ng national treasury.

Ang year-to-date expenditures ay tumaas ng 12.96 percent sa P5.28 trillion sa unang 11 buwan ng 2024 mula P4.68 trillion sa kaparehong panahon noong 2023.

Samantala, bumaba ang primary deficit ng 13.24 percent sa P471.5 billion noong Enero hanggang Nobyembre ngayong taon mula P543.5 billion noong 2023.
