HEAT BALIK ANG INIT

NAGPAKAWALA si Bam Adebayo ng 31 puntos upang tulungan ang Miami Heat na gapiin ang Boston Celtics, 109-103, sa road at kunin ang krusyal na 2-1 kalamangan sa kanilang  Eastern Conference finals series nitong Sabado.

Makaraang hindi na makapaglaro si Miami talisman Jimmy Butler dahil sa injury,  kumana si Adebayo ng superb all-round performance para maapula ang mainit paghahabol ng Boston.

Tumapos si Adebayo, may average lamang na 8 points sa unang dalawang laro ng best-of-seven series, na may 10 rebounds, 6 assists at 4 steals, bilang karagdagan sa kanyang 31-point haul.

Pinuri ni Miami coach Erik Spoelstra ang kahandaan ni Adebayo na punan ang butas na iniwan ng half-time absence ni Butler.

“He did his version of what Jimmy does in doing what is needed in the game,” wika ni Spoelstra patungkol kay Adebayo.

“He was assertive in key moments. And it wasn’t just the scoring — he did so many things in terms of getting us organized, facilitating, defending against a team that presents a lot of challenges. He’s a winning player.

“He really is the heart and soul of our group… When Jimmy was out in the second half, he stabilized us because it got a bit gnarly out there.”

Nagtala si Jaylen Brown ng personal playoff high na may 40 points at kumalawit din ng 9 rebounds para sa Celtics, na gumawa ng 24 turnovers.

Nagdagdag si Al Horford ng 20 points at 14 rebounds subalit nagposte lamang si Jayson Tatum ng 10 points sa 3-of-14 shooting at gumawa ng anim na turnovers.
