MAGING ang isang pulis ay biktima rin ng problemang overloaded na ospital sa Central Luzon kaya hindi na nasagip ang buhay nito.

Sa tala ng Philippine National Police-Health Service, ang pulis na ika-113 COVID-19 fatalities ay 35-anyos, naka-assign sa Central Luzon at kumpleto na ang bakuna laban sa coronavirus subalit isang diabetiko.

Sinabi ni PNP Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar na noong Setyembre 15 ay idinaing ng biktima ang paninikip ng dibdib kaya dinala siya sa ospital ng kanyang pamilya subalit hindi tinanggap ng unang pagamutan kaya lumipat na hindi rin tinanggap dahil full capacity na ang pasilidad.

Dahil dito, nagpasyang iuwi muna sa kanilang bahay si Patient No. 113 at maghihintay na lamang kung saan ospital may mababakante.

Gayunpaman, lalo pang nahirapang huminga ang biktima kaya isinugod siya sa ospital subalit namatay na rin, ayon sa physician.

Labis namang ikinalungkot ng kaanak ang sinapit ng pulis at maging ang pamunuan ng PNP na patunay na walang sinasanto ang COVID-19 gayundin kung puno na ang ospital. EUNICE CELARIO
