TALK of the town sa social media ang viral video nang pambubugbog ng isang estudyante sa kapwa niya estudyante from a very popular school in Quezon City.
Imagine, even popular celebrities like Gabbi Garcia, Sharlene San Pedro, Gil Cuerva, David Licauco, Fifth Pagotan, and Anthony Pangilinan are very much involved in the said bullying incident.
Ateneo Junior High School Principal Jose Antonio Salvador has given his take on the issue.
This was followed by the statement of Ateneo de Manila University President Jose Ramon Villarin SJ, emphatically stating that, “we are treating the matter with the highest priority and urgency.”
Expulsion, according to Mr. Villarin, is the supposed penalty of the student who is the major culprit in this bullying incident.
Mixed reactions ang mga artista but majority are condemning the student’s act of bullying actuations.
“Got to see a compilation video of this kid from a private school bullying his schoolmates,” tweeted Gabbi Garcia. “I feel so sorry for his parents. I just really hope that the school would do something about this.
“This kid needs to learn his lesson the hard way.”
ABS-CBN actress Sharlene San Pedro also tweeted: “kung sino man ‘yung student na nambu-bully sa nagvi-viral na video eh may kalalagyan. Salamat, sa kung sino mang nag-upload. First time ko manggigil sa buong buhay ko.”
Gil Cuerva, from his end, was greatly dismayed.
“Man, it’s such a shame. I came from that school,” asseverated Gil Cuerva. “Really disappointed with the way they’re sweeping this all under the rug. Fr. RB would never.”
David Licauco has expressed the same sentiments.
Tsk tsk.”
Anthony Pangilinan, husband of Maricel Laxa and the father of the Kapamilya actor Donny Pangilinan, is more rational and sympathetic.
“Bullying kids need help, whether or not they ask for it,” he intoned. “For the system to ‘miss it’ is a failure of authority, no denying it.
“But spreading hate & calls for retribution do not help. Can’t righten a wrong with another wrong. I pray higher, enlightened authorities step in, & now.”
Last December 19, bumalik na sa Albania si Trejsi pero muntik na niyang hindi maiuwi ang mga regalong courtesy of her Thai fans, for the simple reason that she didn’t have the money to pay for her excess baggage fee.
When her Thai supporters learned about this while she was at the Suvarnabhumi Airport of Bangkok, Thailand, nag-chip in ang mga ito for the amount THB 5,225 (PHP 8,464.50 sa Philippine currency), covering the excess baggage fee.
It was a good thing that her Thai admirers came to her rescue. Dahil dito, taos-pusong ipinaabot ni Trejsi ang kanyang pasasalamat sa suportang natanggap from her Thai admirers.
On her Instagram account the other day, Ms. Trejsi posted a video together with her Thai fans at the airport.
“Thank you my Thai fans for making me happy. Thank you for the support, the gifts and the love that you share everyday for me. You all are so real and lovely,” she enthused in her caption.
And with that, ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity.
Adios. Mabalos. I always need you, Nhong!
