ISABELA- NADISKUBRE ng mga awtoridad ang isang ilegal na pagawaan ng ibat-ibang klase ng mga baril ang nakumpiska sa isang magsasaka sa isinagawang search warrant ng Ilagan City Police Station sa Sta. Isabel Sur,Ilagan City sa nasabing lalawigan.

Kinilala ni Lt. Col. Virgilio Abellera hepe ng PNP Ilagan City, ang suspek na si Bernaldo Fenix, 44-anyos, may asawa at residente ng Barangay Sta. Isabela ng naturang lungsod.

Sa bisa ng Search warrant na ipinalabas ni Judge Andrew Barcena ng RTC Second Judicial Region, hinalughog ng puwersa ng City of Ilagan Police Station katuwang ang Provincial Explosives and Canine

Unit ng IPPO ang bahay ni Fenix na nagpositibo na may itinatagong mga baril.

Sa paghalughog ng mga awtoridad sa bahay ni Fenix nakumpiska roto isang Caliber 38 na baril na walang serial number na may tatlong bala, isang improvised shotgun na may tatlong bala, dalawang Caliber 22 na may markang Strella Parco na may serial number 952032 at 1450 RP;, dalawang Caliber 22, isang caliber 45, anim na bala ng Caliber 22, apat na short magazine at dalawang pirasong long magazine, dalawang homemade shotgun barrel, dalawampung piraso ng steel tube na may iba’t ibang sukat, tig-iisang piraso ng plywood pattern ng shotgun at steel molder, at tig-dadalawang piraso ng electric drill at electric sander.

Ayon kay Abellera na matagal nang gumagawa at nag-aayos ng mga baril ang suspek na ang mga nakumpiska nilang iba’t-ibang klase ng baril ay maariing ipina gagawa lamang sa kanyang mga kliyente.
Inamin naman ni Fenix na ilegal ang kanyang pagawaan, kung kaya’t patago ang pagtanggap nito sa mga ipinapagawang baril ng kanyang mga kliyente na kadalasan ay mga kakilala rin niya.

Samantala, wala namang maipakitang mga dukumento para sa mga baril at iba’t-ibang klase ng mga kagamitan na siyang ginagamit sa pagawa ng mga baril gayundin wala rin permit na maipakitang sa pagawa at pag-aayos ng mga baril.
