“Infrastructure and other capital outlays owing to the Build, Build, Build program continue to boost government spending,” pahayag ni DBM Secretary Benjamin Diokno.
Ang pagtaas ng infrastructure spending at iba pang capital outlays ay resulta ng mga proyektong pang-imprastruktura na ipinatupad ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), gayundin ng capital acquisition sa pamamagitan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines Modernization Program.
“Subsidies to government corporations totaled P32.5 billion, up 93 percent due to the P27.7 billion health insurance premiums of indigents enrolled under the National Health Insurance Program of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation,” ayon sa DBM.
“Total national government spending in July reached its peak so far at P328.1 billion, up 34 percent from P245.1 billion year-on-year,” dagdag pa ng DBM.
“The fiscal numbers in July 2018 confirmed progress in our efforts to reduce underspending and instill public financial reforms,” ani Diokno.
