NAGLUNSAD ang Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) at Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) sa Zamboanga Del Norte ng Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (PAHP) na programa upang labanan ang umiiral na kagutuman at kahirapan sa bansa sa pamamagitan ng magkatuwang na pagtulong sa food security sa pamamagitan ng naturang marketing agreement.
“This is a collaborative effort aims to combat hunger and poverty by fostering cooperation among governmental bodies, agricultural organizations, and correctional facilities to promote sustainable development and community well-being,” sabi ni Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO) II Rizzel Villanueva.
Sa ilalim ng PAHP marketing agreement,ang Guinles Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GUIFAMUCO), na isang agrarian reform beneficiaries’ organization (ARBO),ay magpapatuloy ng pagsusuplay ng kanilang mga ani ng agricultural products sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Female Dormitory sa Dipolog City.
Ayon kay Villanueva sa pamamagitan ng naturang agreement ang grupo ng agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs ) ay matutulungan na mapapatatag ang market stability ng GUIFAMUCO at sa kanilang kabuhayan lalo na para sa kanilang merkado.
“This agreement and its continued partnership strengthen the commitment to ensure adequate and palatable food for our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and alleviating poverty by continuously supplying them with healthful goods while contributing to the market growth of ARBOs, particularly in GUIFAMUCO,” sabi niya.
