TARLAC- BINISITA nina Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana at Armed Forces of the Philippine chief of Staff Gen Andres Centino ang 21 military facilities na itinayo ng Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) para sa Philippine Army sa loob ng Camp Servillano Aquino Camp sa nasabing lalawigan.
Pormal na ipinagkaloob ng BCDA ang newly-constructed Army Support Command (ASCom) facilities sa Philippine Army, ang 21 completed building ay bahagi lamang 44 military facilities na itatayo ng BCDA para sa AFP na inaasahang matatapos sa buwan ng Agosto 2022.
Sa simpleng seremonya ay tinanggap nina Lorenzana, kasama si Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr, at ASCOM Commander Maj. Gen. Glenn Cruz ang symbolic key ng replicated facilities mula kay BCDA Officer in Charge and Presidente Atty. Aristotle Batuhan.

Agad dingl nagsagawa ng site inspection si Brawner sa initial batch ng 15 replicated facilities para sa Army Support Command (ASCOM) .
“Another milestone in upgrading our military facilities” which is a thrust towards the “AFP Modernization Program,” ani Lorenzana.
Inilarawan ni Lorenzana ang BCDA sa kanyang pasasalamat na “one of the AFP’s strongest pillars of support” in attaining the AFP’s vision into becoming a world-class Armed Forces, a source of national pride”.
Kabilang sa mga bagong gusali na natapos na ang Multiple headquarters facilities, officers’ quarters, barracks, warehouse, student classrooms, at transportation and maintenance battalion areas na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng P1.5 bilyon.
Kaugnay nito ay pinapurihan ni Lorenzana ang Northern Luzon Command troopers na tinaguriang “peacekeepers of the north” na responsable sa territorial defense operations, internal security operations at humanitarian assistance and disaster response operations sa gitna at hilagang Luzon na pinamumunuan ni Lt Gen Jun Torres.
