NAGPAABOT sina Speaker Martin G. Romualdez at Senador Peter Cayetano ng pagbati at lubos na papuri kay teenage tennis sensational player Alex Eala sa pagkakasungkit nito ng kauna-unahang US Open championship crown para sa isang Pilipina na sumabak sa naturang prestihiyosong liga.

“Once more, a young Filipina athlete showed the world what mankind could achieve with grit, determination, and perseverance,” sabi ng lider ng House of Representatives.

“Congratulations, Alex Eala, for showing us the way to greatness. The Filipino nation is truly proud of you, and we are forever grateful for your success on the global stage. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!” dagdag pa ni Romualdez.

“We are truly blessed with incredibly talented athletes! Congratulations to Alex Eala for being the first Filipina to win a junior Grand Slam singles title at the 2022 US Open! She represented the country in the finals held at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, New York,” pahayag naman ni Cayetano.

“Ipinagmamalaki ka ng ating bansa at ipinagdarasal namin ang iyong patuloy na tagumpay. Inspirasyon ka sa ating mga kabataan dahil sa iyong galing, sipag, at dedikasyon.
