NANATILING nakaa­lerto ang buong pu­wersa ng PNP-National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) sa pangunguna ni Major General Vicente “Vic’ Danao sa buong Metro Manila kahit pa ibinaba na ang COVID-19 Alert level sa Kalakhang Maynila simula bukas October 16 hanggang katapusan ng buwan.

Ayon kay Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Guillermo Eleazar, inatasan niya kahapon ang lahat ng unit commanders sa Metro Manila na pag-aralan ang mga patakaran sa pagpapatupad ng Alert Level 3 sa Metro Manila upang maayos itong maipatupad.

Naglabas ng direktiba si Eleazar matapos aprubahan ng Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) ang rekomendasyon na ibaba na ang COVID-19 alert sa National Capital Region sa Level 3.

“I have instructed all police unit commanders in Metro Manila to immediately cascade to their men on the field the guidelines for the imposition of Alert Level 3 to avoid any confusion in enforcement from October 16 to 31,” anang PNP chief.

“Our other units outside the National Capital Region (NCR) would have to make the necessary adjustments depending on the community quarantine classification,” dagdag pa nito.

Dahil Dito, naghahanda si Danao ng mga posibleng adjustments sa pag-iral ng Alert Level 3 sa Maynila.

Kailangan umanong matutunan ng police operating units ang magiging pagbabago sa guidelines sa pag-iral ng COVID 19 Alert Level 3 sa Metro Manila upang makatulong din sa pagpapaliwanag sa publiko.

Sa ilalim ng Alert Level 3, makapagbubukas na ang ilang establisimiyento ng 30% indoor venue capacity para lamang sa mga fully vaccinated habang 50% outdoor venue capacity basta’t fully vaccinated ang mga empleyado.

Samantala, bawal pa rin ang face-to-face classes para sa basic education, contact sports maliban kung bubble type setup, pamamasyal, kid amusement industries at mga lugar na may live voice o wind instrument performers tulad ng karaoke, clubs, concert halls at teatro.

Bawal din ang mga casino, karera ng kabayo, sabong, loterya, betting shops at iba pang mga gaming establishment maliban sa mga aprubado ng pamahalaan gayundin ang pagtitipon ng mga hindi naman nakatira sa iisang bahay.

“Ang hindi lang magbabago ay ang mahigpit na pagbabantay ng ating kapulisan para tiyaking nasusunod ang minimum public health safety.

Magpapatuloy ang ugnayan ng PNP sa mga LGUs para sa epektibong pagpapatupad ng mga guidelines,” giit pa ng PNP chief.

“Paalala ko lang sa publiko na bagama’t may pagbaba sa Alert Level o bahagyang kabawasan sa paghihigpit ay hindi ito nangangahulugan na maaari na tayo magpakakumpiyansa. Nananatili ang banta ng COVID-19 kaya’t sana ay mahigpit pa rin natin sundin ang mga panuntunan para sa ating proteksyon sa coronavirus,” wika ni Elea­zar. VERLIN RUIZ
