IPINA-DEPORT ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang isang South Korean fugitive na wanted ng mga awtoridad sa kanilang bansa dahil sa pagkakasangkot nito ng online illegal gambling.
Kinilala ni BI Commissioner Jaime Morente ang deportee na si Park Junyoung,44-anyos, umalis noong Sabado sa Mactan International Airport (MCIA) sakay ng Jeju Air flight papuntang Incheon, Seoul, South Korea.
Ayon kay Morente si Park ay mayroon nakabinbin na Warrant of Arrest na inisyu ng Busan District Court, kung saan nililitos ang kanyang kaso laban sa online illegal gambling.
Batay sa impormasyon sa pagitan ng Pebrero, 2016 at Abril,2019 ay nagtayo ang grupo ni Park ng online gambling na kung saan nakakulimbat ang mga ito ng tinatayang aabot sa 50.3 bilyon Won katumbas ng $43 milyon bago tumakas papuntang Pilipinas.
Dagdag pa ni Morente si Park ay hindi na maaring makabalik sa bansa hinggil sa pagkaka-blacklist nito at pagiging undesirable. FROILAN MORALLOS
