LANCE RAYMUNDO REPRISES FAVORITE SONG WITH #YATO

LANCE-RANNIE

Matatandaang ang Why Can’t It Be? ay tumatak sa OPM lovers noon.

#YATO is a rehash of a favorite song ni Lance na You Are the One, which is dedicated to his second love, who is now currently happily married.

Pero hindi nangyari but we remained good friends to this day,” sambit ni Lance.

Notable of which is the role of Jesus Christ in ‘senakulo’ plays bilang panata na rin at pasasalamat sa bagong buhay at kaligtasan na ibinigay sa kanya ng Maykapal.

“But singing was my first love. Basically I am singer. I started out as a singer. And  when I signed with Viva Artist Management,  I thought the best thing to do is to sing again. It’s like going back to where I really belong.  After all,  I already have around 200 songs,” he said.

Naturally, the music video is inspired by the near-death traumatic experience of Lance. But at the end of the video, her girlfriend/partner, played by Janna Victoria, accepted him wholeheartedly no matter how he looked like – kung naibalik ba ang mukha niya o hindi.

In his present stature, Lance sees love as acceptance, sharing and generosity. “You don’t find happiness or make yourself whole because of your partner. It’s the other way around. You accept your partner and share with him/her your happiness.”

Aside from acting, Lance has also been into hosting. So what’s next after #YATO?

“The next single is on the pipeline, then the album!” he quipped.

Meantime, catch the craze #YATO via Spotify and iTunes. Follow the comebacking singer’s gigs via his official FB account.
