NASA 24,043 pamilya ang nagtapos na sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) ng pamahalaan mag-mula noong 2020, ayon sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Ang datos na ipinalabas noong Miyerkoles ay nakalap mula January 2020 hanggang June 8, 2021.
Noong June 10, may karagdagang 197 household-beneficiaries ng programa ang tinukoy ng DSWD bilang self-sufficient.
Para maituring na self-sufficient household, ang family-beneficiary ay dapat na may sapat na kita pagdating ng graduation para makayanan ang mga pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan; at natamo na ang unang dalawang lebel ng Social Worker Development Indicators, Survival and Subsistence.
Kahit naka-graduate na sa programa, patuloy pa ring sinusubaybayan ng DSWD ang mga pamilya sa pamamagitan ng local government units (LGUs) at para sa pagkakaloob ng iba pang angkop na tulong para masustina o mapagbuti pa nila ang kanilang economic status.
Ang 4Ps program na nilagdaan bilang batas, dalawang taon na ang nakalilipas, bilang Republic Act 11310, ay nagkakaloob ng conditional cash grants sa ‘poorest of the poor’ at pinagbubuti ang kalusugan, nutrisyon, at edukasyon ng mga batang may edad 0-18.
Sa ilalim ng batas, ang conditional cash transfer grant kada bata na naka-enroll sa day care at elementary pro-grams ay tatanggap ng hindi bababa sa PHP300 kada buwan, PHP500 kada bata sa junior high school, at PHP700 kada bata sa senior high school para sa maximum na 10 buwan kada taon, habang ang health at nutrition grant at hindi dapat bumaba sa PHP750 kada buwan taon-taon.
Ang cash grants ay ipinamamahagi sa pamamagitan ng authorized government depository banks, rural banks, thrift banks, cooperative banks, at institutions na may kinalaman sa money remittances na duly accredited ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. PNA
