MAKING HISTORY AT 27

Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Chua

NOW on its 27th year, Aliw Broadcasting Corporation continues to make waves in the broadcasting industry, standing on its commitment to serve the nation through news, information, entertainment and public service.

Founded by the late Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Chua, the legacy of Aliw Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) continues under the leadership of his sons–Mr. D. Edgard A. Cabangon as Chairman and President, and Mr. D. Adrian Cabangon as Vice President and General Manager.

ABC currently operates 12 radio stations located throughout the archipelago with its flagship radio stations, DWIZ 882 AM and 97.9 Home Radio FM.

Powered by its 50,000 watts transmitter, DWIZ 882 gives crisp and crystal clear sound which can also be heard nationwide via DWIZ mobile app, which is available at the Apple Store and Google Play Store.

With its goal of reaching a wider audience, the station is now actively seen on Face-book Live by clicking on the DWIZ 882 Official Facebook page. It also utilizes audio and video online streaming which are integrated into the website: the www.dwiz882am.com

Throughout the years, DWIZ 882 has been spearheaded by some of the country’s top caliber media practitioners who relentlessly impart their knowledge and time to serve the people.

These include veteran journalist and columnist Jarius Bondoc, former Manila Stand-ard Today editor-in-chief and now Manila Times columnist Jojo Robles, ex-Partylist Representative Jonathan Dela Cruz, and Philippine Daily Inquirer business columnist Conrad Banal, among others.

Staying true to its slogan “Balitang Sigurado, Tapat Na Serbisyo, Sa Komentaryo Nu-mero Uno,” this year, DWIZ takes its calling to the next level. It provides alternative perspectives and insights through commentators in various fields of expertise, includ-ing Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, former Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez, former Press Undersecretary Robert Rivera, well-acclaimed lawyers Atty. Ferdie Topacio and Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles, and RJ Nieto also known as Thinking Pinoy.

DWIZ continues to offer balance information: real news as it happens, fair reportage, and public service.

Aliw Broadcasting Corporation remains committed in living its legacy to serve the Fili-pino people, to aim for bigger goals, and evolve with the digital age.

Together, let’s join hands in creating stories that will shape history, inspire and trans-form society as a whole.
