MAS MAHIGPIT NA QUARANTINE CLASSIFICATION SA VISAYAS AT MINDANAO

NAGDESISYON ang Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease na magpatupad ng mas mahigpit na quarantine classification sa apat na lugar sa Visayas at Mindanao.

Ito ay kasunod ng pagtaas ng kaso ng coronavirus disease sa mga apektadong lugar.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, nagpasya ang IATF na isalalim sa modified enhance community quarantine ang Iloilo City at Iloilo province mula Hulyo 15 hanggang Hulyo 22 at pagkatapos ay diretso sa enhance community quarantine hanggang Hulyo 31.

“The task force escalated the community quarantine classification of Iloilo province and Iloilo City from modified ECQ until July 22 to ECQ until July 31. The two areas are in the Visayas region,” ayon kay Roque.

Habang ang Cagayan de Oro na dating nasa MECQ ay inilagay sa ECQ hanggang katapusan ng buwan gayundin ang Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental.

“From its initial MECQ classification until July 31, 2021, Cagayan de Oro is now placed under ECQ until July 31, 2021. The City of Gingoog in the province of Misamis Oriental is likewise placed under ECQ until the end of the month,” ani Roque.

Samantala, idinagdag pa ni Roque na pinalawig ang pagsasailalim sa general community quarantine with heightened restrictions sa Antique mula Hulyo 22 hanggang Hulyo 31.

Ang Misamis Oriental, na nasa modified GCQ classification hanggang Hulyo 31 ay inilagay sa GCQ with heightened restrictions hanggang sa katapusan ng buwan.

Ang reclassification ay rekomendasyon ng Technical Advisory Group, at Technical Working Group on COVID-19 Variants sa ilalim ng Department of Health. EVELYN QUIROZ
