LUMABAS sa pinakabagong resulta ng Labor Force Survey (LFS) ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) ang top occupations na tumatanggap ng pinakamataas na daily basic pay sa bansa.
Batay sa October 2024 LFS, ang Armed Forces occupations ang tumanggap ng pinakamataas na average daily wage sa P1,301, na tumaas mula P1,173 per day noong October 2023.
Ang Armed forces occupations ay kinabibilangan ng lahat ng trabaho na hawak ng mga miyembro ng armed forces, hindi kasama ang mga nasa civil defenses tulad ng police at customs inspectors.
Sumunod sa listahan ang professionals, partikular ang mga tumatanggap ng daily basic pay na P1,168, tumaas mula P1,135 per day year-on-year.
Ang professionals ay yaong gumagamit ng scientific o artistic concepts at theories sa kanilang mga trabaho tulad ng sa larangan ng sciences, social sciences, legal and social services, art, at iba pa..
Ang managers ang ikatlo sa may pinakamalaking daily wage sa P1,109, bumaba mula P1,254 per day noong October 2023.
Inilarawan ng PSA ang managers na “who plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the overall activities of enterprises, governments, and other organizations.”
Pumang-apat ang technicians at associate professionals na may daily basic pay na P826, tumaas mula P785 year-on-year.
“Technicians are those who perform technical tasks connected with application of scientific or artistic concepts, operational methods, and government or business regulations,” ayon sa PSA.
Ang clerical support workers ang ika-5 occupation na tumanggap ng pinakamataas na daily basic pay sa P740, tumaas mula P706 sa kaparehong buwan noong nakaraang taon.
“Clerical support work includes recording, organizing, storing information and performing clerical duties such as money-handling, travel arrangements, and appointments,” anang PSA.
Samantala, ang bottom five occupations pagdating sa daily basic pay ay ang skilled agricultural, forestry, and fishery workers – P378; elementary occupations – P413; service and sales workers – P525; craft and related trades workers – P553; at plant and machine operators and assemblers – P583.
