UMIIRAL na ang modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) sa Agusan del Sur epektibo kahapon, Agosto 27 at magtatagal hanggang Setyembre 10.

Sinabi ni Alfredo Nonoc Plaza, spokesman ng Agusan del Sur provincial government, napagkasunduan ito sa isinagawang virtual meeting ni Governor Santiago “Santi” Cane kasama ang mga miyembro ng Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force (PIATF).

Ang pagpapairal ng MECQ ay bunsod ng patuloy na pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19ay punuan na ang kanilang mga ospital pati na ang kanilang mga quarantine at isolation facilities at pinangangambahan na nila kung saan ilalagay ang mga pasyenteng madadapuan pa ng nakamamatay na coronavirus.

Ilalim sa MECQ restrictions, mahigpt na ipapatupad ang curfew hours, bawal ang pagtitinda ng mga nakakalasing na inumin, bawal din ang pagtitipon at ang paglabas ng bahay sa mga nasa edad 18-anyos pababa at 65-anyos pataas pati na ang mga buntis at may comorbidities.
