THERE was no existing problem with Meg Imperial and Roxanne Barcelo. They were able to finish their movie Abay Girls under Viva without any problems. Kasama nila sa pelikula sina Nathalie Hart, Kylie Verzosa, at Cristine Reyes.
So far, smooth naman daw at devoid of any complications ang shoot ng movie na most of the pivotal scenes were shot in Bicol.
Ito ay sa kabila ng hindi pa rin matapos-tapos na isyu between Meg and Roxanne.
Looking back, in an interview sometime in 2017, Roxanne divulged that she was bullied by a younger actress when they worked together in one show. May mga nagsasabing it was Meg, Roxanne was alluding to.
“I think they exaggerated the story already,” she retaliated. “Pero it’s not like that talaga na sobrang grabe, oo.”
How was the atmosphere on the movie set with Roxanne?
“We’re okay,” she asseverated. “‘Yung mga nababalita lang, it’s a misunderstanding.
So when we were there na sa Bicol, we had, like, girl talk, of course. It’s clear, it’s like a misunderstanding.”
Asked to comment about Abay Girls, she said that the movie shoot went on smoothly.
“Well, tapos na kami. Magpi-pictorial na lang kami,” she quipped. “And then, I think naman, satisfied naman sila with the result nu’ng shooting namin.
“It was really fun working with Cristine and others.”
According to Meg, they were given the chance to know each other while in Bicol basically because they were locked in while the shooting was in progress for a period of six days.
“At first, kinilala pa namin the place, plus hindi naman kami sanay na magkakasama. But eventually, parang nag-sink na rin kaming lahat talaga nu’ng nasa Bicol kami.
DOT SEC BERNA ROMULO-PUYAT’S SON GRADUATES WITH 1ST CLASS HONORS FROM UK UNIVERSITY
PROUD mom si DOT Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat at ang kapatid ni Vito Puyat na si Maia Puyat sa graduation day last June 10 ng kanilang kapatid sa Newcastle University in England.
Grumadweyt si Vito with highest honors from the Newcastle University, a prestigious institution known for its academic excellence in the United Kingdom.
The day before her son’s graduation, the proud and excited mom posted this note on Instagram: “Not only is my son the speaker for his graduation next week, but he is also graduating as a First Class Honour student (which is the highest possible grade classification one can achieve in the U.K.)
“My heart is full #ProudMom #BestNewsEver.”
May degree in Psychology si Vito and he intends to take post-graduate studies on Neuroscience.
But when he was a toddler, he was diagnosed according to his doting mom with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
“I went to 4 doctors just to make sure that he was not misdiagnosed. One even told me that he was borderline autistic.
Only ONE school called YLC owned by @teachergins @triciahosaka and @annettedelrosario welcomed him with open arms, and I will be forever grateful to them for accepting him.
Annette was the one who told me about this new school that was being put up called Beacon School and that it would be perfect for my son.
Again, I am grateful to Beacon because when I told them about my son’s condition, they didn’t care and accepted him immediately!
They never treated him any differently and they nurtured him and have made him into the man he is now.
So you can imagine my shock and surprise when he received the Beacon Blue and Green Award (overall achievement award)!
What made it more special is that Dave also received a similar award when he graduated from high school!
If he were alive today, I am sure he would have been as proud! With @sengracepoe as the commencement speaker #proudmom #vitopuyat.”
Dave, Vito’s dad, died of heart attack in 2010.
And with that, ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity. Adios. Mabalos. I always need you, Nhong!
