32nd PMPC STAR AWARDS FOR TV

MULING nasungkit ng ABS-CBN ang  pinakamataas na karangalang  Best TV Station sa katatapos na 32nd PMPC Star Awards For TV, nitong ika-14 ng Oktubre, 2018, sa Henry Lee Irwin Theater, Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City.

Wagi naman bilang Best Drama Actor sina Joshua Garcia at Jerome Ponce ng ‘The Good Son’ ng ABS-CBN 2 at Best Drama Actress si Yasmien Kurdi ng ‘Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka’ ng GMA 7.

MAINE MENDOZATulad nang inaasahan, naging maningning ang pagtitipon ng mga bituin mula sa iba’t ibang estasyon ng telebisyon, na pinangunahan ng hosts na sina Jodi Sta. Maria, Kim Chiu, Yassi Pressman, Raymond Gutierrez at Robi Domingo.

Sing and dance  number din ang inihandog ni Vina Morales at Barry Manilow medley naman ang handog ng Broadway Boys na sina Francis, Joshua, Benedict at Joshua, kasama si Mitoy Onting.

Ipinagkaloob ang Ading Fernando Lifetime Achievement Award kay Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista; ang Excellence in Broadcasting Lifetime Achievement Award naman ay kay Arnold Clavio.

Ang German Moreno Power Tandem ay kina Coco Martin at Yassi Pressman ipinagkaloob.

Samantala, dahil umabot na sa 15 awards ang ASAP bilang Best Musical Variety Show, iniluklok ang programa sa Hall of Fame Award at mapapahanay na ito sa mga nauna ng Hall of Famer na Maalaala Mo Kaya (Best Drama Anthology), Bubble Gang (Best Gag Show), Eat Bulaga (Best Variety Show) at Boy Abunda (Best Male Showbiz Oriented Talk Show Host).

At bilang tribute sa pag­luklok sa ASAP sa Hall of Fame, naghandog sa opening number ng awitin ang mga ASAP mainstays na sina Angeline Quinto at Darryl Ong; at masiglang dance production number naman mula kina Kim Chiu at Enchong Dee, kasama ang G Force.

Mapanonood ang kabuuan ng palabas sa Oktubre 28, 2018, sa ‘ABS-CBN Sunday’s Best’ pagkatapos ng ‘Gandang Gabi  Vice.’
