SINUSPINDE ng Games and Amusements Board (GAB) ang Mindanao leg ng Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup habang sumasailalim sa re-evaluation ang liga.

“We are in the process of investigation and seriously looking into the allegations of wrongdoing. The board would like to further observe the ongoing Visayas leg before giving a go signal for the other,” pahayag ni GAB chair Abraham Mitra.

Ayon sa GAB, nirerebyu ng ahensiya ang mga report ng field officers nito at ng mga opisyal ng liga “to determine the administrative liability of the licensees as well as the possibility of proceeding with criminal charges if warranted by the circumstances.”

“Our mandate is to ensure the integrity of professional sports and welfare of players, and we’re doing just that,” dagdag ni Mitra.

Noong Abril 15 ay pinatalsik ng VisMin Super Cup ang Siquijor Mystics kasunod ng kontobersiyal na laro nila kontra Lapu-Lapu. Pinagmulta at sinuspinde rin ng liga ang ilang players ng Lapu-Lapu kasunod ng insidente.

The Visayas leg of the league is still ongoing, with two matches slated for this afternoon.

Ang Mindanao leg ng VisMin Cup ay magsisimula sana sa Mayo 20 sa Dipolog matapos ang Visayas leg na umarangkada noong Abril  9.

May kabuuang siyam na koponan ang nakatakdang sumabak sa Mindanao leg ng liga — Basilan Peace Riders, Cagayan De Oro Rafters, Zamboanga Los Valientes, Pagadian Explorers, Roxas Vanguards, Sindagan Saints, at mga koponan mula sa  Tawi-Tawi; Valencia City, Bukidnon at Ozamis.
