MORISSETTE NO MATCH PA RIN KAY SARAH

SUPORTADO raw ng dalawang icons when it comes to singing na sina Regine Velasquez at Lani Misalucha si Morissette Amon.

The iconic singers are believe that Morissette is the heir apparent to Sarah Geronimo’s throne. Honestly, when you speak of tal-ent, Morissette has truckloads of it.

But to become popular and hot in this business, I would say that talent is not enough. It really is not the sole barometer.

Talent is a great factor but luck, along with charisma, plays an important part. A major part if I may say so.

And Sarah Geronimo has truckloads of it when she was born, apart from her simple but arresting beauty.

Sad to say, talented and gifted as Morissette Amon is, she doesn’t have the makings of a movie queen the way Sarah is enor-mously blessed with.

I-back-up man siya nina Regine (tabachingching & over-acting manamit..Hahahaha!) Velasquez at Lani Misalucha, I’m sorry to disappoint these people that she doesn’t have the makings of a movie queen.

Magaling, gifted at talented, pero hindi sapat ang kanyang mass appeal. Besides, Sarah is still relatively young and it would take another 15 or 20 years before she would be replaced.

But one thing is for sure, Morisette, with all her talents, is not going to replace her (Sarah).

Period. Walang comma!

TEDDY CORPUZ NAHAMBAL SA PAGMUMURA NI JK LABAJO SA RAKRAKAN

TEDDY Corpuz recently said in a presscon that he is not in favor of rockers who are using cuss words in dealing with some people he doesn’t like.

He was obviously referring to JK Labajo’s supposedly uncalled for actuations at the Rakrakan 2019 festival last March 1 at the Circuit Makati.

Hindi raw alam ni Teddy kung anong gustong palabasin ni JK but one is for sure, it was something he doesn’t approve of.  Hin-di raw tamang murahin ang taong nanonood kahit ano pa ang sabihin nito.

Kung sa kanya raw nangyari yun, tawanan lang daw niya. Looking back, minsang nag-perform ang kanilang banda sa UP, he was asked to sing the theme song of It’s Showtime. After which, ay pinakanta rin daw siya ng theme song of their rival program Eat Bulaga.

Honestly, hindi raw siya nakaramdam na nainsulto siya o napikon kaya.

Teddy was given the chance to be with JK in a gig right after the Rakrakan 2019 incident, and he would, honestly, have given him some advice but the chance to talk to him had elluded him.

Anyway, sa isang banda naman, nagpapakatotoo lang daw si JK at tanggap naman ito ng kanyang mga fans. Supportive pa rin ang kanyang mga sponsors and they like his straightforward and honest attitude.

And the consensus is his popularity would still soar to greater heights.

FABULOUS ANG CHEMISTRY

NANG manood kami ng press preview ng Lovelife na dinirek ni Nikko Arcega, (a very promising and talented director if I may say so), I have to admit that I didn’t have so much expectation.

Sa pagkakaalam ko kasi, MTV director lang si Direk Nikko and he is a greenhorn too in the field of movie making.

But as the story unfolded, my skepticism was changed into something akin to admiration. Direk Nikko knows his craft and is admittedly good at it.

Maa­yos niyang naikwento ang buhay ni Dino Imperial sa movie at ang enigmatic role ni Sachzna Laparan.

Napaarte rin niya nang maayos sina Dino at Sachzna and the ending is different and not predictably typical.

And with that ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity. Adios. Mabalos. I always need you, Nhong!
