(Mula sa Japanese government) P38-M DISASTER RESPONSE EQUIPMENT IBINIGAY SA PNP

PINASALAMATAN ni PNP Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar ang Japanese government sa ipinagkaloob na di­saster response equipment sa pambansang pulisya na umaabot sa P38.9 milyong piso ang halaga.

Personal na tinanggap kahapon ng umaga sa Camp Crame ni Elea­zar kasama si DILG Undersecretary Bernardo Florece Jr. ang donasyong kagamitan mula kay Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines His Excellency Kazuhiko Koshikawa.

“I would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the Government of Japan for their conti­nuing support to the Philippine police force. We are very grateful for the outpouring of support to our personnel to effectively and timely give response during natural calamities and disaster” ani Eleazar .

Ang donasyon ay binubuo ng tig-tatlong unit ng Rescue Vehicle, Water Purifier, Portable Movable Toilet, Collap­sible Tent, Lighting

Apparatus, Life Boat, Personal Rescue Equipment, at Search Sound Detector para sa search and rescue operations.

Nabatid na ang ipinagkaloob na mga disaster response equipment ay bahagi ng “Japanese Non-Project Grant Aid for the Provision of Japanese Disaster Reduction Equipment”.

Sinabi ni Eleazar na ang mga kagamitan ay malaking tulong para epektibong makatugon ang PNP sa panahon ng sakuna. VERLIN RUIZ
