INAPRUBAHAN ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management on Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF MEID) na higpitan pa ang galaw ng publiko kasunod ng ulat na may 12 na local transmission ng COVID-19 Delta variant.
Sa IATF Resolution No. 128, isinailalim sa general community quarantine with heightened restrictions ang Metro Manila, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Davao De Oro at Davao del Norte epektibo Hulyo 23 hanggang Hulyo 31.
“As these areas will be placed under GCQ with heightened restrictions, children five years old and above will not be allowed to go to outdoor areas,” saad ng IATF Resolution No. 125.
Susundin pa rin ang mga regulasyon sa IATF alinsunod sa mga nakalipas na panuntunan.
Naghigpit ang pamahalaan dahil na rin sa banta ng Delta variant ng COVID-19.
Ang Ilocos province ay dating nasa Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) na sana ay hanggang Hulyo 31 subalit may mga ulat ng paglaki ng kaso ng COVID-19 kaya pinahigpit ang kuwarantina roon.
Habang nasa Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) ang Davao de Oro at Davao del Norte subalit isinama rin ang mga ito sa GCQ with heightened restrictions.
Samantala, ang Davao del Sur, na nasa MECQ, ay isinailalim sa GCQ simula Hulyo 23 hanggang Hulyo 31. EVELYN QUIROZ
