INAASAHANG magbubukas na ang Malabon exit ng North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) Harbor Link C3-R10 section sa Dagat-Dagatan Avenue sa Pebrero 21, ayon kay Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sec. Mark Villar.
Si Villar, kasama ang mga opisyal ng NLEX Corp., ay nagsagawa ng final inspection sa C3 sa Dagat-Dagatan segment, na magsisilbing alternate corridor para sa mga motorista na patungong Port Area mula NLEX.
“This inspection is in preparation for the opening of the C3 to Dagat-Dagatan portion, which is about 1.2 kilometers. We are making sure that all the safety features of the expressway are in place before we open it to the public,” pahayag ni Villar, at sinabing ang buong 2.6-km C3-R10 Section ay magiging operational sa susunod na buwan.
Ang NLEx Harbor Link C3-R10 Section ay magsisimula sa Caloocan Interchange, C3 Road, Caloocan City hanggang Radial Road 10, Navotas City, durugtong sa naunang binuksang 5.65-kilometer NLEx Harbor Link Segment 10 na dumadaan sa Karuhatan, Valenzuela City, Governor Pascual Avenue in Malabon City, at 5th Avenue/C3 Road, Caloocan City.
Ang proyekto ay inaasahang magpapabilis sa biyahe mula Port Area patungong NLEX sa loob lamang ng 10 minuto at tinatarget na magkaloob ng direct access para sa commercial vehicles, lalo na ang heavy trucks.
“We are anticipating that truckers and freight forwarders will greatly benefit from this new road since their cargo trucks will have 24/7 access, and in turn translate to faster delivery of goods to and from the provinces in North and Central Luzon,” wika ni NLEX Corp. chief operating officer Raul Ignacio.
