“The expansion in the annual growth of the VoPI in December 2023 was mainly brought about by the slower annual decline in the manufacture of food products,” ayon sa PSA, kung saan ang division ay nagtala ng 1.4% na pagbaba laban sa 4.9% pagbaba noong Nobyembre 2023.
“The manufacture of food products contributed 34.5% to the uptrend of VoPI for the manufacturing section in December 2023,” sabi pa ng PSA.
Naitala naman ang pagbagal sa 13 industry divisions — wood, bamboo, can, rattan articles, 55.3%; leather and related products, 33.0%; machinery, 17.8%; computer, electronic and optical products, and beverages, tig-16.5%; other non-metallic mineral products, 15.6%; fabricated metals, 12.0%; tobacco products, 11.9%; rubber and plastic products, 8.9%; wearing apparel, 7.8%; chemicals, 2.8%; other manufacturing and repair, 2.3%; at food products ng 1.4%.
“The expansion in the annual growth of the VaPI in December 2023 was mainly attributed by the slower annual decrease in the manufacture of food products,” pahayag ng PSA, kung saan ang division ay nagtala ng 0.8% pagbaba kumpara sa 3.7% drop noong Nobyembre 2023.
“The biggest annual growths for the month were seen in the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products at 38.4%, coke and refined petroleum products by 32.5%, and electrical equipment by 31.9%,” ayon sa PSA.
Ang pinakabagong numero ay naghatid sa full-year VoPI growth sa 4.4%, mas mabagal sa 15.1% noong 2022, at sa 52.6% noong 2021. Ang paglago ng VaPI ay naitala sa 5.9%, bumaba mula sa 22.5% noong 2022 at 49.2% noong 2021.
