Nakatakda ang kumpetisyon para sa Asia and Oceania Olympic qualifers sa May 5-7 sa Sea Forest Waterway sa Tokyo Bay, ang venue ng Tokyo Olympics rowing competitions.
Sisikapin ng pares nina Melcah Caballero at Joanie Delgaco, na nagwagi ng gold sa women’s lightweight double sculls event ng 2019 Southeast Asian Games, na makopo ang isa sa tatlong Olympic slots na nakataya sa kanilang division.
Makikipagbakbakan din ang duo nina Roque Abala Jr. at Zuriel Sumintac para sa tatlong Olympic tickets na nakataya sa men’s lightweight double sculls.
