MINAMADALI na ang konstruksiyon ng Lawton Avenue hanggang Global City viaduct section ng Bonifacio Global City (BGC)-Ortigas Center Road Link Project upang maabot ang target completion sa buwan ng Setyembre.
Ayon kay Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar, oras na matapos ang proyekto, makagagaan ang biyahe ng mga motorista sa pagitan ng Ortigas at BGC.
Nagsagawa ng inspeksiyon si Villar kasama si Undersecretary for Unified Project Management Office (UPMO) Operations Emil Sadain, UPMO-Roads Management Cluster 1 (Bilateral) Project Director Benjamin Bautista at Project Manager Ricarte Mañalac sa naturang proyekto kahapon.
Sinabi ni Sadain na natapos na ang deck slab ng main viaduct mula sa pier 13 hanggang pier 22 habang nagpapatuloy ang pagkakabit ng deck slab reinforcements sa pier 22.
Puspusan pa rin ang pagtatrabaho ng DPWH at contractor nito sa kahabaan ng 8th Avenue mula Kalayaan Avenue intersection kahit nakasailalim sa enhanced community quarantine kasabay ng pagtalima sa health and safety protocols.
Oras na matapos ang Lawton Avenue hanggang Global City Viaduct section, magkakaroon na ng direktang access mula Ortigas Center patungo sa Kalayaan Bridge papuntang Bonifacio Global City.
Mula sa isang oras, inaasahang bababa sa 12 minuto ang travel time sa pagitan ng BGC at Ortigas Center kapag nakumpleto na ang buong 1.481-kilometer BGC-Ortigas Road Link Project.
