NAGLAAN ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Navotas ng P2.8 milyon para sa one-time special risk allowance (SRA) ng mga frontliner na humaharap sa laban kontra sa COVID-19 pandemic.
Nasa 428 ang kawani ng lokal na pamahalaan ang nakatanggap ng kanilang SRA na kung saan 187 mula sa City Health Office at 241 mula sa Navotas City Hospital.
“We are very grateful that our medical and health care providers are dedicated and resilient. They have been tirelessly working, providing earnest care and service for the past six months,” ani Mayor Toby Tiangco.
“We value the sacrifices they make for our fellow Navoteños. We hope the SRA will help boost their morale and give them renewed strength as we continue to combat this health crisis,” dagdag pa nito.
Noong nakaraang Mayo, isang City Ordinance No. 2020-20 ang ipinasa na nagbibigay sa health workers sa Navotas na direktang contact sa suspected, probable at positive ng COVID-19 na karagdagang bayad na katumbas ng maximum na 25 porsiyento ng kanilang buwanang suweldo.
