MAHIGIT sa P282 million ang halaga ng pinsala na iniwan ng bagyong Dante sa agrikultura at imprastraktura.

Sa pagtaya ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), nasa P268.52 million ang pinsala ni ‘Dante’ sa national roads at flood-control structures sa Central Visayas at Soccsksargen.

“In Region 7 alone, partial cost of damage is at P106.2 million from P95-M  damaged roads, and P11.2-M from flood-control structures; while in Region 12, partial damage estimate hit P162.32M from flood-control structures,” ayon sa DPWH.

Sinabi pa ng DPWH na inaayos pa ng ahensiya ang tatlong impassable national road sections sa mga lalawigan ng Cebu, Eastern Samar, at Agusan del Sur.

Sa Cebu, ang apektadong section ay ang Dalaguete-Mantalongon-Badian Road, sa Brgy. Ablayan, Dalaguete, Cebu na nakalubog pa rin sa baha.

Isinara rin ng DPWH Quick Response Team ang Wright-Taft-Borongan Road, K0861+(-439) – K0890+176, Camp.5 Bndry-Jct. Taft sa Brgy. Binaloan, Taft, Eastern Samar dahil sa posibleng pagguho ng lupa.

Samantala, iniulat ng NDRRMC na may P14.6 million na halaga ng pinsala sa agrikultura ang natamo sa Soccsksargen at Caraga. Ang mga apektadong commodities ay kinabibilangan ng bigas at mais.
