TINATAYANG nasa P4.2 million ang halaga ng COVID-19 test kits ang nasabat ng mga intelligence operatives ng Philippine Air Force sa tulong ng Quezon City District Field Unit – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (QCDFU-CIDG) sa apat na online sellers na nagbebenta ng Rapid Test Kits kamakalawa ng hapon sa Pasig City.
Ayon kay Air Force Public Affairs Office chief Ltc. Maynard P Mariano, nasa 21,000 kits (P200.00/kit) ng Konsung Brand COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits na nagkakahalaga ng P4,200,000.00 ang kanilang nakumpiska sa apat na suspek.
Dinala sa tanggapan ng QCFDU- CIDG ang mga suspek para sa follow up investigation habang inihahanda ang kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9711 (FDA Act of 2009) in Relation to FDA Advisory No. 2020- 016 (Prohibition of Online Selling of FDA Certified COVID-19 Antibody Test Kits).
