APRUBADO na ang revised list ng 100 infrastructure projects na nais ipatupad ng administrasyong Duterte na may kabuuang halaga na P4.2 trillion.
Ayon sa Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), mas mababa ito sa naunang halaga na P8.2 trillion.
Ang updated list ay sumasaklaw sa 100 flagship infrastructure projects sa ilalim ng limang kategorya na kinabibilangan ng transport and mobility, power, water, information and communications technology, at urban development and renewal.
Ang listahan ay magkasamang inaprubahan ng Investment Coordination Committee – Cabinet Committee (ICC-CabCom) at ng Committee on Infrastructure (INFRACOM) kahapon.
“The swift implementation of these flagship projects is paramount to us and this sentiment is shared by the Filipino people; and the government, with the help of the private sector and our partner international agencies, will deliver,” wika ni BCDA president and CEO Vince Dizon.
Ang pamahalaan ay may 75 flagship infrastructure projects, subalit inalis ang ilang items dahil sa feasibility issues.
Pinalitan ang mga ito ng ibang proyekto na inaasahang maipatutupad bago matapos ang termino ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte sa 2022.
Kabilang sa listahan ang Metro Manila Subway Project, North South Commuter Railway, Clark International Airport Expansion Project, Cebu Monorail System, Panay-Guimaras Negros Bridge, Samal Island-Davao City Connector Bridge, at ang Mindanao Rail Project.
Ayon sa BCDA, 26 sa 100 proyekto ang ipatutupad sa ilalim ng public-private partnership scheme. PILIPINO Mirror Reportorial Team
