Lumisan na ang lead vocalist ng OPM rock band Aegis na si Mercy Sunot sa edad na 48 matapos makipaglaban ng ilang panahon sa breast at lung cancer.
Kinumpirma ito mismo ng grupong Aegis sa kanilang official Facebook page.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Mercy, one of the beloved vocalists of AEGIS Band. She bravely fought her battle with cancer but has now found peace and rest,” ayon sa kanilang post.
Ayon sa kanila, si Mercy ay hindi lamang tinig ng Aegis. Nagbibigay din umano ito ng comfort, joy and strength sa kanyang mga tagahanga.
