BALIK-AKSIYON ang Pagadian Explorers, sa pagkakataong ito bilang isa sa walong koponan na sasabak sa Mindanao leg ng inaugural Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup.

Ipinakilala kamakailan ni Pagadian Mayor at team owner Sammy Co ang bagong Explorers — one-time finalists sa National Basketball Conference bago sumabak sa nabuwag na Liga Pilipinas, may isang deakda na ang nakalilipas – na bahagi ng kauna-unahang professional basketball league sa South.

Lalarga ang mga laro simula sa Mayo 30, tatlong linggo makaraan ang Visayas leg na nadominahan ng KCS Computer Specialist- Mandaue City. Ang kampeon sa Mindanao leg ang sasagupa sa Mandaue para sa Super Cup championship sa Agosto.

Ang Explorers ay pangungunahan ng 6-foot-6 na si Mark Benitez, miyembro ng  Rizal-Xentro Mall sa 2019-21 Chooks-to-Go MPBL Lakan Cup.

Makakasama niya ang mga collegiate campaigner na sina Arellano transferees Rich Guinitiran at CJ Pamaran – kapwa nabigyan ng special guest licenses ng Games and Amusements Board (GAB) nitong April 8 – gayundin si Keanu Caballero, dating Taguig mainstay sa National Basketball League.

Nasa lineup din ng koponan sina Orvelle Saludsod, John Edros Quimado, Arman Demigaya, Kenneth Singedas, Elizalde Sunogan, Kenth Baldeo, Kem Jhon Diva, Von Dechos, Ruben Caballero, Jehzreel Acaylar, Jeric Serrano, Rex Quilo, Christian Mana-lo, Rey Bolotaolo, Godfred Helido, at  Jan Villaver.

Si Harold Sta. Cruz ang magsisilbing coch ng koponan, habang team manager si Dodong Pamaran.
