SASAMBULAT na sa Linggo, Disyembre 8, ang ika-11 pagtatanghal ng PASAY ‘The Travel City’ Racing Festival 2024 na may 11 kapana-panabik na karera at naglalakihang papremyo sa MetroTurf Racing Complex sa Tanauan-Malvar, Batangas.
Tampok sa taunang racing festival ang apat na pangunahing karera at pitong trophy races.
Ang apat na major races ay ang 11th Pasay ‘The Travel City’ Grand Cup na may papremyong P1 milyon, 11th Pasay Rep. Tony Calixto Cup na may papremyong P1 milyon din, 11th Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano Cup na may papremyong P500,000 at ang Former Pasay City Mayor Duay Calixto Memorial Cup na may P400,000 prize money.
Ang pitong trophy races naman ay may garantiyang P300,000 premyo bawat isa.
Ang PASAY ‘The Travel City’ Racing Festival 2024 ay suportado ng SM Development Corporation, Newport World Resorts, PCSO, DoubleDragon Properties, Pagcor, Boysen Paint, Willy Keh, Davies Paints, and HyperTech Wire & Cables.
May anim na kalahok sa 11th Pasay ‘The Travel City’ Grand Cup na paglalabanan sa distansiyang 1,800 metro. Ang mga kabayo at hineteng kalahok ay sina Black Star–OP Cortez; Early Boting–MM Gonzales; Magtotobetsky–JM Estoque; Mimbalot Falls–JA Guce; Open Billing–PR Dilema; at Wild Is the Wind- AR Villegas.
Ang mananalo ay mag-uuwi ng P600,000 habang ang runner-up ay magsusubi ng P225,000. Ang ikatlo at ikaapat na puwesto ay magbubulsa ng P125,000 at P50,000, ayon sa pagkakasunod.
Pitong top-rated runners naman ang kasali sa 11th Pasay City Rep. Tony Calixto Cup na paglalabanan sa distansiyang 1,600 metro: Authentikation–JA Guce; Bill Jordan–AR Villegas; Diamond Heart–PM Caballero; Every Sweat Count–JT Zarate; High Dollar–KB Abobo; King James–JB Bacaycay; at Worshipful Master–LF de Jesus.
Ang mga tatakbo naman para sa 11th Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano Cup (1,600 metro) ay sina Bid For Fame, Charge The Castle, Cosmos, Daily Burn, Dakota Elegance, Darleb, Dreaming Always, Mano Dura, Midnight Cat, Perfect Delight, Red Queen at Speed Fantasy, habang sa 10th Former Pasay City Mayor Duay Calixto Memorial Cup (1,400 metro) ay ang mga kabayong Alapaap, Eugene Bell, Exalted, Inspiring journey, Joint Venture, Orient Express, Sabel, Sunset Beauty and Waltzing Matilda.
