PH DRRM INITIATIVES PINURI NG MONGOLIAN DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER

PINURI ni Mongolia Deputy Prime Minister Sainbuyan Amarsaikhan ang pamahalaan ng Pilipinas para sa mga inisyatibong isinusulong nito sa disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) sa panayam sa kaniya sa Office of Civil Defense (OCD).

Inihayag nito ang pasasalamat sa OCD para sa pagpapadali ng mahalagang talakayan ukol sa Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) System na naganap nitong Biyernes sa Camp Aguinaldo sa Quezon City.

“We just visited the operations office of the Philippines for disaster risk reduction and exchanged about very important best practices. We appreciate the government of the Philippines for sharing with us the strategies, operations, experience and the best methodology to reduce the risk” ayon sa kaniya.

Inilarawan ni Amarsaikhan ang pulong bilang “napakahalaga” at binigyang-diin na ito ay patunay ng patuloy na pakikipagtulungan at dedikasyon sa pagtataguyod ng katatagan.

“We are very happy to be in your operations center. This meeting not only emphasized the strong ties between our nations but also highlighted our shared commitment to building resilient communities in the face of natural hazards and other emergencies” dagdag pa niya.

Dumalo rin sa pulong si Defense Undersecretary for Civil, Veterans and Reserve Affairs Pablo M. Lorenzo kasama sina Civil Defense Deputy Administrators Hernando Caraig Jr., Asec. Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV at iba’t-ibang OCD Service Directors.

Binati rin ng Ministro sina NDRRMC Chair at Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. at Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga para sa kanilang mahalagang kontribusyon sa mga estratehiya sa hinaharap.

“They added so much value to our ideas and the future strategies, specifically in raising the investment and financing in the reduction of risk, including providing better tools and equipment to the countries where they need tools” diin ng Deputy Prime Minister.

“The message was very powerful and this powerful message means that the risk is at our gate. So we need to avoid as much as possible by collaborating and cooperating closely.”

Matapos ang pulong, nagbigay ang mga opisyal ng OCD ng tour sa National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (NDRRM) Operations Center na lalong nagpatibay sa diwa ng kooperasyon sa talakayan.
