PH TEAMS NASA THAILAND NA PARA SA ASIAN WOMEN’S CLUB TILT

DUMATING na sa Thailand kahapon ng umaga ang Philippine women’s teams, na dala ang pangalan ng Team Rebisco at Team Choco Mucho, para sumabak sa 21st Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship.

Ito ang unang pagkakataon na lalahok ang Pilipinas sa isang international competition sa ilalim ng liderato ng Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF).

Ang Team Rebisco at Team Choco Mucho ay mapapalaban sa limang iba pang koponan sa torneo, na may nakatayang isang puwesto sa FIVB Women’s Club World Championship. Nakatakda ang world club tilt sa December 15-19 sa Turkey.

Ang Aby Marañoled Team Rebisco ay nasa Pool B, na kinabibilangan din ng also Thailand’s Supreme Chonburi, Kazakhstan’s Altay at Iran’s Saipa.

Nasa Pool A naman ang Team Choco Mucho, na pinangungunahan ni Iris Tolenada, kasama ang Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima QminC VC at Kazakhstan’s Zhetyssu.

Ang mga player ay sumailalim sa swab test bago umalis ng  Manila, at sasailalim sa isa pang round ng COVID-19 tests sa bisperas ng kumpetisyon sa Huwebes. Ang swab tests ay isasagawa tuwing ikatlong araw.
