PHIL NAVY BEST AMBASSADOR – RUSSIAN ENVOY

MAYNILA – “It’s true, your navy sailors and marines are the best possible ambassadors of your nation.”

Ito ang pahayag ni Russian Ambassador to the Philippine  Ambassador Igor Khovaev sa welcome ceremony sa BRP Tarlac at sa Philippine Navy Naval Task Force 87 noong Lunes sa Pier 15 South Harbor Manila.

Sinalubong at pinapurihan nina Russian Envoy Igor Khovaev at Philippine Navy Flag Officer in Command Vice Admiral Robert Empedrad ang buong contingent ng Philippine Navy Naval Task Force 87  na nagsagawa ng dalawang makasaysayang official port visit sa Vladivostok, Russia at Jeju Island sa South Korea lulan ng Naval warship na BRP Tarlac LD601 na naglayag noong September 22, 2018.

Sa nasabing welcome cere­mony inihayag ni Empedrad sa kanyang pamumuno na hindi niya gusto na ang mga barko ng Filipinas o ng Philippine Navy na nakatali lamang.

Aniya, nais niyang ipadala ito sa iba’t ibang bansa para sa patuloy na pagsasanay at pag-aaral ng mga kasapi ng PN at mas maisulong pa ang military and ­diplomatic relation ng Filipinas sa ibang bansa

“I would like to fully support honorable Vice Admiral because  he has just said that the phil navy sailors and marines they are the best ambassadors of your nation, yes its true, your navy sailors and marines are the best possible ambassadors of your nation. In vladivostok Russia because  they helped many Russian people discover your country, your nation and its a great contribution to our partnership and friendship, im saying once again phil navy ships are always most welcomed in Russia” ayon naman kay Amb. Khovaev

Ang Philippine Navy Naval Task Force 87 na pinangungunahan ni Task Force Commander Capt. Florante N. Gagua at TF Executive officer at incoming BRP Tarlac commanding officer Capt Carlos Ruiz ay binubuo ng composite teams mula sa Philippine Navy, Philippine Marines, Naval Reserve Command, NAVSOG, Chaplain, Medical and Dental team at ng regular crews ng barko at  mamahayag mula sa pahayagang ito, PILIPINO Mirror at Philippine Star.    VERLIN RUIZ
