CAVITE-SUMABAK ang mga piling tauhan ng Philippine Navy sa isang malaking war fighting exercise na tinawag na ‘Exercise Pagbubuklod 2021’ na isinagawa sa Marine Base Gregorio Lim, Ternate sa lalawigang ito.

Ayon kay Navy Flag Officer in Command Vice Admiral Adeluis Bordado, layunin ng inilunsad na pagsasanay ay upang mapalakas pa ang interoperability ng sailor at marines ng Hukbong Dagat sa pagtugon sa anumang mga banta na kahaharapin ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at ng bansa lalo na ang tinatawag nilang traditional at non-traditional threats.

Ayon kay Exercise Pagbubuklod 2021, director, Lt.Commander Ariel Constantino, umaabot sa 350 Philippine Navy sailors at marines ang sumabak sa war fighting exercise.

“Dito po mate-test ang ating interoperability concept yung pagsasama, pagbubuklod ng mga fleet marine units combined ng sailors, dito po rin natin maba-validate yung ating tinatawag na doctrines ng bawat unit ng Philippine Navy. Ang isang purpose dito po nakita makita dito natin maa-adress yung traditional and non-traditional threats,”ani Constantino.

Sa nasabing Joint Amphibious Operation on land at sea nagpakitang gilas ang ilang mga bagong assets ng Philippine Navy at Marines .

Target ng pagsasanay na maging handa ang kanilang unit sa pagtugon sa mga banta lalo na sa terorismo at national security.

Tampok sa nasabing joint exercise ay ang isinagawang amphibious assault/raid, insertion/extraction, amphibious sealift, tactical sealift, force protection capability, support and sustainment, afloat command and control, Maritime Search and Rescue, shipboard helicopter operations (HELOPS), at casualty evacuation operation (CASEVAC).

Lumahok din ang bagong warship o frigate ng navy ang BRP Jose Rizal partikular sa isinawagang Gunnery exercise, Maritime Interdiction Operation, Surface Action Group gaya ng Air Defense exercise, over the horizon targeting and search at attack Unit operations.

Sinabi ni Constantino malaking tulong sa kanilang kahandaan ang isinagawang joint exercise para mapataas ang kanilang performance para tuparin ang kanilang mandato. VERLIN RUIZ
