PINAAAPURA ng Makabayan bloc sa Kamara ang paglalabas ng available na pondo ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) sa ilalim ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Ito ay para matulungan agad ang mga kababayan sa Northern Luzon na hinagupit ng bagyong Maring.

Sa House Resolution 2296, hinimok ng Makabayan ang pamahalaan na pangasiwaan na ang agarang paglalabas ng pondo sa AICS program ng DSWD.

Dito ay makatatanggap ng pinansiyal na tulong na P10,000 ang bawat biktima ng bagyo.

Kailangan na kailangan na umanl ang tulong dahil sa lawak ng pinsala, mga nasirang tahanan, gayundin ay marami ang naitalang nasawi at sugatan dahil sa pananalasa ng bagyong Maring.

Nauna nang naglaan ng tulong ang national government na P743, 897 para sa food packs sa mga pamilyang sinalanta ng bagyo pero hindi pa rin ito sapat para muling makabangon mula sa mga kabuhayan at buhay na nawala dulot ng bagyo. CONDE BATAC
