INIREKOMENDA ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) ang pagtataas sa entry-level pay ng health workers sa mga pribadong ospital.

Ayon kay Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, dapat gawing pareho ang entry-level pay ng mga nasa pampubliko at pribadong ospital.

“Ang pinag-aralan namin, hopefully, this is a recommendation to Malacañang together with the DOH (Department of Health) na ‘yung healthcare workers in the private sector will have an entry level (pay) similar to that in the public sector,” ani Bello.

Giit ni Bello, pareho ang ginagawang trabaho ng mga nasa pribado at pampublikong ospital kaya dapat lamang na walang pagkakaiba sa sahod ng mga ito.

“Kaya naman ‘yan ng private sector e, kumikita naman sila,” aniya. LIZA SORIANO
